We at davidjenkins.com take data protection very seriously, and have created this privacy statement to demonstrate our commitment to the privacy of our Clients, and the security of the information they consensually share with us.

As part of our coaching programmes on davidjenkins.com, we will collect personal and confidential medical information about our clients. This is done to enable us to access and track physiological and energy balance data for our clients throughout their programmes.

We facilitate this data collection using specific forms, questionnaires, Food Diaries and Physical Activity Diaries and during coaching sessions. Any personal information you supply to us will only be used in the context of the business we conduct with you.

GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation.

The Data Protection Act 1998 has been reviewed and updated and is now the General Data Protection Regulation GDPR. GDPR covers all aspects of collecting, processing and accessing data  - in relation to personal information we obtain from Clients.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. To this end, our systems and methods of data protection are practiced in accordance with the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) laws - and are GDPR Compliant.

The legal basis for processing your personal data in based upon your consent. Your consent for us to be able to obtain and use this personal information must be freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous.

A condition of GDPR compliance requires that personal data must be;

  • Processed lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner.
  • Collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes, and not further processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes.

  • Kept in a form which permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary.
  • Processed in a manner that ensures appropriate security of personal data, including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing.
